Purpose and Content

The aim of the course Explaining the purpose, benefits and possibilities of using the medical technology used in the Healthcare Facilities, it is aimed to convey the knowledge and skills to the students about the use of healthcare information and tools.
Course Content Definition of clinical engineering, organization and functions of clinical engineering units, hospital management, hospital revenues and device supply procedures to the hospital, use of computers to facilitate service flow in clinical engineering units, purchasing and acceptance of medical devices, maintenance, repair and calibration of medical devices I, services for maintenance, repair and calibration of medical devices II, methods and principles to be followed in the establishment of intensive care units, standardization and total quality management, sterilization, hospital wastes, medical gas systems, safety rules in medical devices, medical device legislation.
