Purpose and Content

The aim of the course It is to provide students with the knowledge and skills that will enable them to use high quality and safe technologies that support science and to follow technological developments, to follow technological developments in the field of health and to gain knowledge and skills that direct them to use technological products with proven safety and effectiveness in nursing care.
Course Content Overview of information technologies in nursing, usage of information technologies in nursing, use of information technologies by nurses, the place of internet and web technologies in nursing informatics, tele-medicine and mobile applications in nursing care, simulation, technology, informatics, technology in patient follow-up and monitoring, information in imaging systems technology in pharmaceutical applications, technology in the management of chronic diseases, the contribution of technological developments to the nursing profession and its effect on patient care, the ethical aspect of technology in nursing care, nursing in future technology
