Purpose and Content

The aim of the course Students in practices that they consider the public health and ensure that they act according to them, the health organization and legislation in Turkey, preventive health care and environmental health practices, immunization, public health in noncommunicable diseases, elderly health, maternal health and family planning, child health practices to know To enable the student to evaluate the factors affecting health, to learn the basic concepts related to health and health promotion, to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to improve the health of the individual, family and society, to understand the importance of health protection and development, to learn the responsibilities of the nurse in this regard, to prevent diseases. to enable them to do their applications.
Course Content It examines the functions and basic principles of the public health nurse regarding the protection and improvement of the health of the community, family and individual, early diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation services. In this context, the historical development of public health nursing, its definition, roles, health evaluation, family structure and culture, environment, work, school, elderly health, maternal and child health, health services, health organizations and policies. takes place.
