Educational & Psychological Measurement and Evaluation is a science that deals with the development of tools used to measure educational and psychological characteristics for various purposes, adapting existing ones for different purposes and cultures, and solving the validity and reliability problems of these tools.

The educational and psychological characteristics are intelligence, academic achievement, special abilities, cognitive and psychomotor competencies, professional competencies, and personality traits (interest, attitude, etc.).
