​Turkey Open Kick Boxing Championship gold medalist in Istanbul Aydın University student Buğra Tugay Erdoğan, with the t-shirt while wearing in the medal ceremony, drew attention to the public relations profession and drew attention to the campaign #BeAwareOfMyProfession. 

Istanbul Aydin University (IAU) Faculty of Communication Public Relations and Publicity Department 4th grade students of Buğra Tugay Erdogan, with the t-shirt while wearing in the medal ceremony of Turkey Open Kick Boxing Championship as a champion who gained gold medal, drew attention to the campaign "#BeAwareOfMyProfession’’ which aims to raise awareness about the Public Relations profession. 

‘’Heavyweight’’ Message 

Mr. Erdoğan who gets on the ring as heavyweight in the championship held at the WOW Kremlin Palace Hotel in Antalya between 8-14 January 2018, he reached the championship by overthrowing his opponents one by one. Mr. Erdoğan supported the campaign started by the students of the Public Relations and Publicity Department of the Faculty of Communication, to raise awareness about the public relations profession and to correct false perceptions with the t-shirt, he wore during medal ceremony. 

"My Aim was to Introduce Our Campaign" 

Erdoğan said: ‘’Kickboxing is a sport I have been interested in since my childhood. As a result of the labor I have spent for years, reaching the Turkey championship is very happy for me. On the other hand, as a student of Public Relations, I wanted to take the chance to reach the #BeAwareOfMyProfession campaign we worked on at the IAU PR Club, which we established within our university, to larger masses. For this purpose, I went to the medal ceremony by wearing one of the t-shirts that we previously prepared for the campaign. In this way, I think our campaign will attract big attention.
