Purpose and Content

The aim of the course To comprehend the basic concepts related to educational programs, to recognize the theory and factors affecting the curriculum, to examine the general structure, elements, objectives, learning areas of various programs at primary level, to evaluate the curriculum from different perspectives and to evaluate the place and importance of the curriculum in education and training.
Course Content Basic concepts related to education programs; elements of elementary school curricula, objectives (behavioral objectives, gains), areas; the philosophical, historical, psychological and social foundations of primary school curriculum.
