Purpose and Content

The aim of the course It aims to teach the principles of correction in the hand, wrist, and elbow (upper Extremity) orthopedic diseases and/or deformities, the design, production, and application of orthoses, and the design, production, and application of orthoses suitable for foot, knee, and hip group muscle paralysis and traumatic situations involving lower extremities.
Course Content In the light of basic information about the basic anatomical and biomechanical alignment of the upper Extremity, theoretical and practical information on common pathologies, problems that require the use of orthoses and it contains the basic principles of orthoses used to eliminate these problems, production stages, application to the patient, modification, adaptation, and repair.
