Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The aim of the course is to be familiar with the eye as an organ of vision and understand the mechanism of vision. Accommodation, the dioptric changes occurring during accommodation, correction of presbyopia and other disorders of accommodation, ametrop the ametrop types, hyperopia and hyperopia types, myopia, myopia types, astigmatism, astigmatism types, anisometropia, anisometropia types, anisocoria and anisocoria types, surgical correction of refractive errors, correction of refractive errors with glasses and contact lenses and then the comparison with surgical correction, less vision, low vision rehabilitation, cataract, aphakic
Course Content Correction of the Ametrop: Glasses, contact lenses, contact lens principles, intraocular lens. Techniques of surgical treatment of refractive errors,lasers in ophthalmology, laser techniques, surgical techniques in cataract surgery, cataract surgery rehabilitation.
