Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	To provide information about the approach to the child patient, to apply the correct test methods, to the device and rehabilitation in children
Course Content	Approach to pediatric patients. To learn the conditions that cause hearing loss in children. Test methods used in diagnosing hearing loss in children. Treatment methods in children with hearing loss.

Learning Outcomes

Have theoretical and practical knowledge at the basic level in the field of audiometry
Use field terminology of audiometry effectively
Define normal and pathological anatomical formations.
Know and apply newborn hearing screening tests
To have the ability to apply pure tone audiometry, speech audiometry, high-frequency audiometry (in general situations determined by the audiologist) and immitansmetric test methods for the evaluation of hearing
Having the ability to take earmold measurements and hearing aid fitting
Can collaborate with other disciplines.
Carrying out professional and academic studies independently using knowledge and skills
To be able to take responsibility as a team member to solve the problems encountered in the applications related to the field.
Being able to follow the developments in the field on the basis of the lifelong learning
Ability to communicate a positive, professional and social life.
