Dear Colleagues, Dear Students,
It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Faculty of Medicine of İstanbul Aydın University. As the Dean of this esteemed institution, I am proud of our tradition of excellence in medical education, research, and clinical practice.
Almost every profession is related to people, every profession brings with it helping someone else in a sense. However, a physician is the only profession that directly serves people and aims to increase the quality of life of a person who has lost the concept of a healthy life. It is not easy to acquire the profession that aims at such a big goal, to gain experience, and to interpret the experience gained, to teach, or to practice this profession.
In this context, our Faculty of Medicine, is comprised of a dedicated group of academicians, researchers, and clinicians who are committed to providing our students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become exceptional physicians. We believe in fostering an environment of inquiry, critical thinking, and lifelong learning that encourages our students to explore new horizons and push the boundaries of medical knowledge.
Our faculty is also committed to advancing the field of medicine through cutting-edge research that seeks to address the most pressing health challenges of our time. Our research programs span a wide range of disciplines, from basic science to clinical research, and are designed to make a meaningful impact on human health.
As part of our commitment to clinical excellence, our faculty is also engaged in delivering world-class patient care through our clinical affiliates. Through these partnerships, our faculty members have the opportunity to apply their knowledge and expertise in real-world settings, while also providing our students with valuable clinical experience.
