As the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, the 7th International Congress on Nutrition, Obesity and Public Health was held on 28-29 May 2022. Our congress was successfully held, hosted by the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics of Istanbul Aydın University, with the efforts of Associate Professor Gülay BAYSAL, who was our Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences and faculty member of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at that time, with participants from 6 different countries, 120 international and 105 national papers.

Prof Dr Haydar ÖZPINAR, Associate Professor Gülay BAYSAL, Associate Professor Mehmet AKMAN, Assistant Professor Ülkü DEMİRCİ, Assistant Professor Zehra GÜLSÜNOĞLU KONUŞKAN, Assistant Professor Z Begüm KALYONCU ATASOY, and Assistant Professor Muhammet Turabi YERLİ were in the Organizing Board and the Scientific Board.

Lecturer Ceyda DURMAZ and Lecturer Gökçen ÖZÜPEK, and faculty members of IAU Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, were included in the Congress Organizing Committee.

Research assistants of IAU Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Research Assistant Büşra GÖZ and Research Assistant Burcu ERSOY served as the Congress Secretariat.
