The main aim of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts is to train professionals who have sufficient skills and knowledge to produce quality food and beverages from national and international cuisine, entrepreneur, innovative and can be a leader and manager.


Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department accepts students for 2014-2015 Academic Year. It is our main aim to train fully equipped gastronomy experts who have communication and management knowledge, combine food and beverage preparation skills with culture and art knowledge and apply at the end of four years. Besides, conducting scientific researches about Anatolian Cuisine, one of the richest cuisines in the World, and introducing Turkish Cuisine to the international platform are among our objectives We have sufficient classrooms, laboratories and instructors of basic lectures in order to reach these objectives. In this process, in order to ensure practical development of our students, a fully equipped kitchen which has a wide area of 640 m2 wil be completed within the term. Expert instructors will give major area courses which require expertise, During undergraduate study period, our students will be encouraged to attend national and international contests.
