Purpose and Content

The aim of the course To know the classical Arabic literature, to know the genres of the classical period and to be able to read the texts belonging to them. Raising awareness of the poetics of Arabic poetry in the historical period; Internal and external sources of Arabic poetry; Analyzing poetry texts and expressing the evaluation made orally or in writing
Course Content To deal with the movements, tendencies and crossroads of Arabic poetry with its classical and modern forms, to explain the aforementioned trends based on the texts; raising awareness of the poetics of Arabic poetry in the historical period; Internal and external sources of Arabic poetry; Abilities to analyze poetry texts and to express the evaluation made orally or in writing.
