Food Microbiology Laboratory I was established to ensure that the students of Food Engineering department gain practical experiences in "General Microbiology" and "Food Microbiology" courses and dissertations, and the studies on problem solving within the framework of industry-university cooperation.

Food Microbiology Laboratory II

Food Microbiology Laboratory II was established with the aim of enabling the identification of all kinds of microorganisms within food security's field of interest by using traditional culture based methods; supporting the scientific researches on different microorganisms in the fields of biotechnology and microbiology; providing adequate research infrastructure in master's degree, doctorate and postdoctoral projects and national and international projects; giving answer to public and private institutions' requests for analysis regarding food security.
