The purpose of the department; To educate recreation experts who can carry out guiding and developing studies in order to increase the quality of life of individuals with both physiological and psychological healthier and productive works by evaluating individuals' free time with meaningful works.

Recreation department opened with the aim of educating recreation leaders; It aims to train qualified graduates who have a sports culture, can use leadership skills effectively, Recreation Leaders in all schools in the public and private sector, tourism companies, municipalities, other organizations, academics in universities, managers in sports organizations or in similar positions, within the General Directorate of Youth and Sports.
