Education in Physical Education and Sports Teaching and Sports Management departments started in 2017-2018 academic year in different units of Istanbul Aydın University and with the establishment of Faculty of Sports Sciences in May 2018, Coaching Education and Recreation departments were also added to the program. Thus, the Faculty of Sport Sciences, which continues its education and training activities with four departments, constantly strengthens both its academic staff and sports opportunities every year.

In our faculty, along with the four-year undergraduate education, as of the 2019-2020 academic year, Master and Doctorate education is also provided under the Istanbul Aydın University Graduate Education Institute.

The aim of our faculty is to educate teachers, sports scientists, sports experts and academicians with domestic, moral and democratic values, respectful to human rights, modern, free-thinking and speaking, tolerant, self-sacrificing and self-confident, equipped with the knowledge and skills that the State of the Republic of Türkiye needs, but can also be able to find a place for themselves anywhere in the World.

The departments within the Faculty of Sport Sciences, which accepts students with Special Talent Examination, has many elite athletes at national and international levels who have the opportunity to conduct education and sports together.
