Dear Colleagues,

We have started the 2023-2024 academic year all together in Faculty of Sport Sciences, which was established in 2018 at Istanbul Aydın University. With the undergraduate, masters and doctoral education programs within the Faculty of Sport Sciences; teachers, sports specialists, sports scientists and academicians are educated in the field of Physical Education and Sports.

Today, it is known by everyone how insufficient the rate of participation in physical activity is in our country and in the world, and the resulting health problems. In this context, the students, who receive education in the Faculty of Sport Sciences, where it is aimed to educate well-equipped manpower that will serve humanity in all aspects, will play an important role in raising and educating healthy societies with a high quality of life and in the development of sports in Türkiye.

The education of our students is also supported by scientific activities such as conferences, panels, and symposiums along with the strong academic staff, the advanced physical facilities and the great support given to sport sciences at İstanbul Aydın University.

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome our new students who have joined us in the 2023-2024 academic year and also wish everyone health, peace and success.
