Istanbul Aydın University, Faculty of Fine Arts, hosts and contributes to various congresses, symposia, and scientific events to foster academic production and strengthen interdisciplinary interaction. One of the Faculty's most prominent international events is the Istanbul Aydın University International Student Biennial, held biennially. This event serves as a platform for students from diverse disciplines to engage in production, exhibition, and critical discourse. The Biennial is organized under a unique theme for each edition. Featuring an Art Board composed of academics from 11 different countries, the event attracts participation from numerous students worldwide. Beyond the exhibition of student works, the Biennial program includes a variety of seminars, workshops, and artist talks.

Our Faculty's academic journal, Aydın Sanat, is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published twice a year, in June and December. The journal operates through a double-blind peer-review process. Through these publications and events, the Faculty aims to reinforce the culture of research, contribute to contemporary debates in art and design, and enhance engagement with national and international academic networks.
