Istanbul Aydin University Faculty of Fine Arts embraces an educational approach that brings together creative production, critical thinking, and practice based learning by focusing on the transformation of art and design in the digital age, where technology and creativity increasingly intersect. The primary goal of the Faculty is to educate artists and designers who integrate theoretical knowledge with studio and project processes, use contemporary technologies effectively, act with a strong sense of ethical responsibility, and create value for society. In line with this goal, educational activities are strengthened through content that supports an interdisciplinary approach, digital production tools, and applications connected to the sector. The Faculty also aims to disseminate a culture of research from the undergraduate level, produce projects that contribute to innovative and creative industries, and improve academic publication performance. Through international collaborations, exchange programmes, and joint activities, the development of students in a multicultural learning environment is supported, and it is aimed to make knowledge and creative output visible on a global scale. The connection between art and society is reinforced through congresses, workshops, exhibitions, talks, seminars, and similar events, as well as social responsibility projects carried out with public institutions, industry partners, and civil society stakeholders, and the transformation of art and design into social contribution and sustainable benefit is supported.
