Istanbul Aydın University (IAU) works with many partner universities abroad to help students study in different countries.
Erasmus+ Exchange Program
* What is it? An EU-funded program for students to study abroad for 2 to 12 months.
* Who can apply? Both undergraduate and graduate students with sufficient language skills.
* Scope: Our Faculty of Fine Arts has agreements with universities in more than 10 countries.
Bilateral Exchange Agreements
* This program allows students to study for one or two semesters at partner universities outside of the Erasmus network.
* Credits earned abroad are usually transferred back to IAU.
Application Process
1. Nomination: Your home university officially recommends you.
2. Application: You submit documents like transcripts and language certificates.
3. Acceptance & Visa: After getting an acceptance letter, you apply for a visa.
4. Registration: You select your courses and start your exchange period.
Students of the Faculty of Fine Arts have the opportunity to study abroad and experience different cultures and education systems through Erasmus+ and bilateral exchange agreements. These programs provide students with a rich international experience, both academically and culturally.
Our Faculty has been consistently conducting international student exchange activities for many years. In the 2022-2023academic year, 3 students participated in outgoing mobility to Estonia and Austria, while 6 students came to our Faculty from Croatia, Germany, and Bulgaria. In 2023-2024, 4 students went to Germany, Estonia, Lithuania, and Bulgaria, and 28 students - primarily from Romania, followed by Lithuania, Germany, Hungary, Croatia, and Bulgaria - arrived at our Faculty. In 2024-2025, 7 students participated in outgoing mobility to Germany, Croatia, Italy, and Spain, while 5 students from Croatia, Kosovo, and Germany came to our Faculty.
