Digital Game Design

Today, the rapid growth of internet technologies and their spread into new geographical areas, combined with the transcendence of data access via mobile platforms, has produced new requirements in the digital world and prepared the way for the development of innovative techniques to address them. In this environment, digital games have grown in popularity due to their programmable architecture, rich visual and audio experiences, and dynamic user-interaction-based structures. Digital games have developed a significant cultural and economic business on a global scale with large audiences showing interest independent of demographic criteria such as age, gender, education level, or income position.

Every day, the gaming business, which is quickly expanding both in our country and around the world, creates a greater demand for skilled workers. The area of game design, which interacts with many sectors, seeks to train experts who can generate original game ideas and turn them into technically and artistically viable products. In this regard, game design is gaining importance as an independent and strategic profession capable of meeting the needs of today and tomorrow; it is establishing itself as an independent field of expertise with its own methods, production processes, and theoretical infrastructure; and it is emerging as an important discipline that shapes the dynamics of the digital age through innovative game concepts and applications.
