Since its establishment in 2007, Istanbul Aydın University has opened many associate and undergraduate programs and it is the largest foundation university in Turkey in terms of the number of students. According to the Foundation Higher Education Institutions 2021 Report published by YÖK, Istanbul Aydın University, which still maintains its leadership in this field with the number of 37 392 students, draws its strength from the accurate determination of the need for today's and future professions and the quality of the education and training it provides.

Istanbul Aydın University Pilotage Department was established to train civil pilots at national and international level by considering the need for pilots on a global scale. Our university, which is an Approved Training Organization (ATO) authorized by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation, has based its Pilotage Training on solid foundations thanks to its cooperation with True Course Flight Academy for flight training.

Our dear students, who have joined the Istanbul Aydın University family with the success in the ÖSYM exam, will learn advanced English at the end of the 4-year Pilotage Training, complete the modular trainings and get the Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL (A)) and start their professional life as commercial airline pilots.
