​​​​​​Our graduates who own the title of "interior designer" are involved in environmental design processes starting from the first researches to the end of construction and determine the location, size and equipment of the environments. They design suitable, functional and esthetic designs about environment, equipment and furniture by determining the points required for the needs, aims, life style and security of the users. They solve and arrange the new function foreseen in the interior of an environment, which is a completed place or a place which will gain a new function other than the old one, according to human life and behavior. The students of the department start their careers in 2^nd and 3^rd years by internships. The graduates can work as freelancers and also have the opportunity to work in a wide range of private and state institutions including all kinds of architecture and interior architecture design offices, construction and furniture manufacturing firms and design offices.
