Purpose and Content

The aim of the course (1) To demonstrate the important role that strategic management plays in a business's success in the global environment; (2) To provide an integrative medium in which the student must apply skills learned in the business curriculum in the analysis of industries, firms, and the global environment in which they operate; (3) To provide the opportunity to further develop the student's problem solving, decision making, and communication abilities; (4) To emphasize the importance of incorporating the issues of ethics, diversity, and quality into strategic management decisions.
