Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The aim of this course, in line with the transfer of information related to the phenomenon of space; explaining the concepts such as form, light and color with which it is related, transferring the principles and methods of light and color design by considering the factors affecting the design of space, the relationship between colors, the relationship between form and light and the physical/psychological effects of space-environment-human It is aimed to gain an architectural perspective by analyzing it in terms of relationship.
Course Content In accordance with the content of this course, students become aware of the environmental and spatial effects of lighting strategies and decisions. In this context, they understand the design principles of natural and artificial lighting, strategies for using and modulating natural light, the ability to choose and apply luminaires and light sources appropriately, how light and color affect health, safety and well-being in the interior. In addition, students gain awareness of a number of resources for color-related information and research.
