Purpose and Content

The aim of the course It is to gain the ability to use interior design project expression techniques in the context of basic building components and space and circulation relations, including sketching, two-dimensional digital drawing, three-dimensional modeling and presentation forms, and transferring presentation techniques with image processing methods.
Course Content Expressing the design problem with sketches in the context of fictional scenarios. Transferring the created solution to the computer environment with the specified digitization standards. Application of three-dimensional modeling techniques in computer environment based on the use of layers and grouping of components. Application of project presentation techniques with graphic processing software based on scale transfer.

Weekly Course Subjects

1General description of the course, explaining the purpose, scope and method.
2To convey the facts and concepts related to the fiction in the interior design process. Handling the spatial setup through the concepts of main entrance, main space, approach route to main space.
3Adapting the concepts determined in the context of semantic differential to spatial fiction. Explaining the layer and grid systems to be used in the digital drawing of the spatial setup created in line with the determined concepts. DELIVERY OF PREPARATORY WORKS-(Preliminary Research) PRESENTATION AND OPEN CRITICAL MEETING (4.a)
4Numerical drawing of the plan of the spatial setup created in line with the determined concepts.
5Digital drawing of sections and views of the spatial setup created in line with the determined concepts.
6Critical and revisions of the projects whose digital drawings have been completed.
7Modeling of the sample project with layer and group/component logic in SketchUp environment with reference from plan, section and view. 9Modeling of the sample project with layer and group / component logic in SketchUp environment with reference from the plan, section and view.
10Detailed studies for the interior design of the project whose three-dimensional modeling has been completed.
11Critical and revisions of projects in the context of cognitive mapping.
12Rendering and animation editing and rendering of the projects whose three-dimensional models have been completed.
