Purpose and Content

The aim of the course Examining the design approaches and architectural concepts that form architectural form from ancient times to the present.
Course Content The course consists of three parts. In the first part, architectural concepts from ancient to present are taught. In the second part, the design approaches that form the architectural form; pragmatic, typological, analogical, canonical and iconic approaches are examined. In the third part, analysis methods of architectural form are discussed at a basic level.
