Purpose and Content

The aim of the course To provide an understanding of the developments in interior architecture, furniture and interior design from the Prehistoric Period to the end of the Manierist Period.
Course Content It examines the history of architecture, interior architecture, furniture and the development of interior design and plan types from the Prehistoric Period to the end of the Manierist Period. The building types and plan schemes used in these periods and the style features in furniture, color, fabric, accessories and decorative design elements are the main concepts that are emphasized.
