Purpose and Content

The aim of the course By emphasizing the limitations that arise during the integration of architectural design with interior architecture, it is aimed to provide interior architecture students with the ability to develop ideas in interior design and to solve the problems encountered, user needs and requirements with original designs.
Course Content It is an applied course in which criteria such as coating materials, fabrics used in furniture, textiles, lighting elements, material selection, color use are selected and used by considering the idea and functions of the design by determining the user needs and reflecting them to the interior.

Weekly Course Subjects

1-Subject announcement, introduction of the project to be worked on; Explanation of preparatory work
2-Architectural Program including area calculations, Bubble Diagram, Adjacency Matrix, Zoning Diagrams and Semantic Differential Table and Color Palette, Concept Sheet
3-Making a presentation about Metaphor and Architectural Style, Submission and presentation of preparatory work (Architectural Program, Bubble Diagram, Adjacency Matrix, Zoning Diagrams, Semantic Differential Table, Color Palette and Concept Sheet.) 1. Determining the selected area
4-1/50 scale Technical and Furnished Plan / Section Study for the first selected area
5-1/50 scale Technical and Furnished Plan / Section Study for the first selected area
6-For the first selected area; 1/50 scale Technical and Furnished Plan / Section Study, 1/50 scale Floor Floor Plan and Ceiling Lighting Plan Study, Sampleboard and storyboard study
7-For the first selected area; 1/50 scale Technical and Furnished Plan / Section Study, 1/50 scale Floor Floor Plan and Ceiling Lighting Plan Study, Sampleboard and storyboard study Note: Sketch Work Before Midterm Exam; (It will be done as Homework Submission.)

13- Defenses of students supported by visual presentations of projects
14- SUBMİSSİON OF FINAL PROJECTS ACCORDING TO SUBMİSSİON STANDARDS. {All preparatory work, all work related to 1st and 2nd selected areas. It will be delivered in printed and digital form (Autocad, Sketchup, Lumion, 3D Max, PPT, PDF, etc ...)}
