Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	It is aimed to examine interior design in general, to understand the methods that can be used in design, and to reveal the steps in interior design.
Course Content	Revealing interior design methods and design steps, examining concept-based design.

Learning Outcomes

Possess theoretical and practical information on art and design to be used in the field of interior architecture.
Comprehend the environmental, climatic, social, economic and legal factors that affect the basic design principles.
Interpret art history, art, culture, aesthetics and material in the field of interior architecture.
Posses manners, information and the sensitivity of fine arts.
Realize the environment-human interaction in interior architecture.
Comprehend legal arrangements, professional ethics and responsibilities in the field of interior architecture.
Realize the interaction between different disciplines that are related to the field of interior architecture.
Possess sufficient background on structural problems in designing interiors according to the climatic conditions and maintaining comfort.
Design external environment in the vicinity of the organized interior.
Apply related techniques to do research, design and artistic criticism.
