Medical imaging systems are developing in parallel with technology and have great importance as they are the main source of information in this field. In the future, these systems will be designed to detect disease in advance, minimize existing problems, and provide more detailed imaging. For this reason, the need for qualified technicians who can use medical imaging systems effectively and correctly will increase. Being able to respond to this need with intensified theoretical and practical training emphasizes the importance of this program. The Medical Imaging Techniques program was established to train technicians who can provide appropriate and reliable results in terms of accuracy, clarity, and reproducibility in helping the doctor and patient in the diagnosis, follow-up, and treatment of the disease. The aim of the program is to train individuals who are open to education and development, who follow the rapid technological developments in the field of Radiology, and who can quickly adapt to the use of imaging techniques by adhering to the principles of confidentiality, accuracy, and impartiality in line with patient rights.

During the education period, it is planned to enlighten the students to use radiological methods such as Radiography, Ultrasonography, Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance, to use their basic medical and radiological knowledge as necessary, and to interpret their knowledge about radiation protection in terms of their own and patient health.

Important Information

• Ø Education, practice, and internships of students at workplaces will be carried out within the framework of the principles and procedures determined by the Higher Education Council.

Ø Diploma of "Medical Imaging Techniques Associate Degree" graduated from the program and the students who will graduate will receive the title of "Radiology Technician".


Ø When the student graduates, the courses and modules showing the competencies gained during the education period are specified in the diploma appendix.

Ø When the student leaves before completing the program, a document showing the courses and modules showing the competencies gained during the education period is given.

Ø Professional qualifications gained in the program are used in career development in business life, certificate programs, and transition to all other programs when requested.

Ø This program accepts students with TYT score types.

Ø The program has an evening education.
