Purpose and Content

The aim of the course This course enables the student to understand the place of civil society within social life, as well as the role of the education received and social work practices.
Course Content The content of this course covers the role and importance of civil society organizations regarding social development and change; democracy and participation; the concept of volunteerism and its significance for social services; and the role and skills of the social worker in the establishment, functioning, and development of civil society organizations.
