Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	The objective of the Introduction to Law course is to provide students with a foundational understanding of the legal system, focusing on the distinction between law and other social order rules. The course aims to equip students with the knowledge of essential legal concepts, classifications, and branches of law, as well as an understanding of the Turkish judicial system and its developments.
Course Content	The course covers key topics such as the definition and sources of law, fundamental legal concepts (e.g., crime, punishment, and sanctions), the classification of public and private law, and the various branches within these categories, including constitutional, administrative, criminal, civil, family, inheritance, and commercial law. Additionally, the course addresses the court system, including higher courts like the Constitutional Court and Court of Cassation.

The aim of the course
