Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The Introduction to Business Administration course aims to provide students with a solid foundation in business management and the workings of the business world. This course focuses on management concepts, business processes, ethical decision-making, corporate social responsibility, environmental awareness, and sustainability. It also prepares students to address the challenges businesses face in a globalized world and develop strategies to navigate these challenges.
Course Content The course covers key management functions (planning, organizing, directing, controlling) and how these functions integrate into business processes. Students will explore classical, neoclassical, and modern management approaches, learning about the evolving trends and theories in business management. The course also addresses fundamental business processes in areas such as marketing, human resources, finance, accounting, and production.

8Management Approaches A comparison of classical, neoclassical, and modern management theories.

10Marketing Function Marketing mix, target market, consumer behavior.
11Finance and Accounting Functions Concept of income and expenses, balance sheet, key financial indicators.
