Purpose and Content

The aim of the course To gain knowledge about the basic concepts and factors affecting mother and child health, prenatal development,pregnancy and birth processes, family planning services, neonatal development and reproductive and immune systems
Course Content Definition of health, factors affecting mother and child health, mother and child mortality, mother and child health status in Turkey, Reproductive system, Family planning, Sexually transmitted diseases, Pregnancy, Metabolical, endcrinological, hematological and cardiac diseases during pregnancy, Prenatal development, Birth, Confinement and lactation, Neonatal period, Neonatal reflexes, Growth and development, Immune system, children's diseases.
