The webinar titled "The Weaponization of Migration as a Political, Military and Economic Instrument of Statecraft" was held on March 13, 2024, with moderation of Dr. Hakan Ömer Tunca from Political Science and International Relations department and with the participation of Prof. Dr. Kelly M. Greenhill. 

The webinar titled "Policy and Institutional Responses to Refugee Crisis on Ethiopia and Kenya" was held on March 6, 2024, with moderation of the Head of the Department of Political Science and International Relations and Head of the African Application and Research Center Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Cem Oğultürk and with participation of Dr. Anwar Kedir. 

In cooperation with the Department of Political Science and International Relations, Department of Public Administration and National Security and Strategy Application and Research Center, the conference titled "The Effects of Israel's Attack on Gaza in the Region and Turkey" was held with the participation of Prof. Dr. Hasan Köni. 

On February 29, 2024, with the collaboration of the Department of Political Science and International Relations and the Department of Public Administration, the conference titled "Public Health and Politics: Political Effects of COVID-19" was held with the participation of Prof. Dr. Burak Ömür Çakır. 

In cooperation with the Department of Political Science and International Relations and the Department of Public Administration on February 23, 2024, the conference titled "Information Irregularity Management in the Digital Age" was held with the participation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Asuman Kutlu.

Siyaset Bilimi ve Uluslararası İlişkiler Bölümü ve Kamu Yönetimi Bölümlerinin birlikteliğinde 24 Ocak 2024 tarihinde Dr. Yasin Başpınar'ın katılımıyla "Uluslararası Güç Mücadelesinde Dijital Diplomasi'' isimli konferans gerçekleştirildi.

• On 31.10.2022, within the scope of 'Political Interviews of the Department of Political Science and International Relations', Prof. Dr. Akile Gürsoy was invited and the program of the conference "Our 3rd President Celal Bayar with Memories" was realized.

• On 13.09.2022, a faculty member of the Department of Political Science and International Relations, Asst. Prof. Murat Jane made comments on the developments on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border line in the AZTV News bulletin.

•A faculty member of the Department of Political Science and International Relations, Asst. Prof. Canan TERCAN performs  the 'Academy' program on EkoTürk TV every Thursday.

• On 09.03.2022, IAU Department of Political Science and International Relations hosted the NATO Counter-Terrorism Center of Excellence Command delegation.
