  Bölüm Başkanının Mesajı

In the Guidance and Psychological Counseling undergraduate program, an education program prepared according to an interdisciplinary approach is applied. While most of the courses in this program are suitable for the common basic areas in psychological counselor education, courses from psychology, sociology, anthropology, and educational sciences are also taught.

In order for the graduates to adapt more easily to the business environment in the labor market, the applied courses in the program are given importance. Practices such as school counseling, individual counseling, and group counseling by students increase the graduates' workforce quality and professional self-confidence. Graduates are often employed as school counselors. It is possible for them to turn to other specialties of the psychological counseling field, such as career counseling, clinical mental health counseling, and family counseling.

When our graduates want to pursue graduate education, they can continue their academic life in the RPD master's program, as well as being accepted to master's programs in areas such as clinical psychology, developmental psychology, and industrial psychology.
