Mission

The mission of the Primary Mathematics Education Undergraduate Program is to train math teachers who can teach at middle school levels of fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth grades by providing them with the fundamental discipline and professional knowledge, the ability to create and implement mathematics teaching materials appropriately and effectively, the ability to use new educational technologies, and the ability to think critically and solve problems.

 • Opportunity to continue postgraduate rograms after graduation 


Career Opportunities

Teacher candidates who graduate from the Undergraduate Rogram of Elementary Mathematics Education will be able to teach mathematics in grades 5-8 in all public and private schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education. Apart from this, they will have the opportunity to work in other educational institutions. They will also have the opportunity to work in positions such as education consultant, education coordinator, education director in schools. Our graduates can also continue their master's and doctoral studies and work as academicians in public or private universities.
