Purpose and Content

The aim of the course Social media, which is an important area of new media, will be covered in historical, conceptual and theoretical dimensions. The effects of social media on media, economy, marketing and communication will be examined in details.
Course Content The aim is to teach students usage areas, tools and facilities of social media practically.

3Describing technology in the globalization process and communicating information about how to transform and transform media.
4The process of technology and new media in globalization process.
5Explain the difference between new media and social media concepts.
6Describing the differences between social media and traditional media, focusing on the features of social media.
7Transmission of information about social networks emerging from social media.
8Explanation of social media strategies.
9Midterm Exam
10Discussion of how social occasions are used in strategies.
11Social media strategies and current examples.
12Giving information about integrated communication in social media.
