Purpose and Content

The aim of the course In the course; The basic concepts of the new media, their characteristics and the effects on the social, cultural, economic and technological fields will be discussed at the theoretical level. The role of new communication technologies in shaping the transformation and media-society relationship created in the field of media will be explained through sample applications. The aim is to enable students to learn the effects of new media cultures on various areas.
Course Content The transformation of the concept of media into the new media in the context of the historical development of the mass media and the characteristic characteristics involved in this transformation constitute the content of the course.
