Purpose and Content

The aim of the course In this course; Students acquire the necessary concepts (such as culture and civilization) to be able to analytically handle the general environment they are in, and associate them with media theories. In general, we focus on the various social, artistic, theoretical and cultural practices that make up our digital scene today.
Course Content In addition to studying digital theories and productions, the students will have the opportunity to think about basic ethical issues such as surveillance, censorship, gender, ethnic identity and commercialization of the public sphere.
