Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The aim of this course is to introduce Public Theatre and Public Humor within the traditional understanding of humor through various texts, discuss traditional folk culture from basic plays to modern theatre, bring in the ability to produce a compilation.
Course Content Humor types, differences between public humor and local humor, public storytellers, toy theatre, light comedy, features of Improvisational theatre and country theatre and also riddles, proverbs and idioms are studied in this course.

5Types, characters, texts of shadow puppet theatre.

8Reflection of Improvisational theatre to the present day.
9Midterm Exam.
10Reflection of Country theatre to the present day.
11Folk Literature from tradition to the future.
12Research on compilation works in the field.
