Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The aim of this course is to introduce the Sufism movement, which forms the basis of Tekke poetry within the scope of the Folk Literature course and the integrity of Turkish Literature, and the literary works created under the influence of this movement, the characteristics of these products and the personalities who have worked in this field in chronological order.
Course Content The content of this course includes the tradition of religious poetry in the pre-Islamic period in the Turks, the reflections of the Sufi movement in folk literature, the form and genre features of the religious Sufi poems bearing the individual's stamp in Folk Literature, their creators and analysis studies on examples of their works, religious-sufistic poetry tradition in the history of Turkish culture, sufism elements in the poems of Ahmed Yesevî, Yunus Emre and Kemal Ümmî.
