Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The aim of this course is to introduce the important features of old Anatolian Turkish period, the place and value of it in Turkish dialects.
Course Content Definition, Formation, Development, Phases of Old Anatolian Turkish, its place in old Turkish dialects; characters and their works in Old Anatolian Turkish from Seljuks to the early formation years of Ottoman language, used syntax and syntax inconsistencies in works, use of different word types, major phonetic events, applications of translation on with/without vowel mark transcriptions are examined.
