Purpose and Content

The aim of the course In this course the prosaic texts of the first and second generation which is one of the important periods in New Turkish Literature and the prosaic genres that comes recently to Turkish Literature from West are introduced.
Course Content Prosaic works especially the novels of the first and second generation of New Turkish Literature, such as Şinasî, Şemsettin Sami, Namık Kemal, Ahmet Mithat Efendi, Muallim Naci, Recâîzâde Mahmut Ekrem, Sami Paşazade Sezâi Mizancı Murat and etc are examined.
