Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	The aim of this course is to examine the rising of modern Turkic literary languages and to analyse the textual examples of modern Azerbaijan, Uzbek and Kazakh languages in terms of linguistics and grammatical structure.
Course Content	History of modern Turkic literary languages, textual examples of modern Turkic literary languages, modern Azerbaijan, Uzbek and Kazakh languages are examined.

Learning Outcomes

Explains the historical development of Turkish language and literature according to countries and ecoles.
Introduces "well-known personalities in the historical period and fields of Turkish literature" and their works from the first examples to the present.
Describes the relationship between language and literary theories and other disciplines.
Evaluates the works of Turkish language and literature in various periods and fields in terms of Turkish cultural history.
Evaluates the fields and ecoles of the field within its historical depth and geographical width.
Follows bibliography of studies on Turkish language and literature in written, printed and virtual platforms.
Defines and interprets a work or process related to the field and solves the encountered problems with contemporary methods.
Examines the works related to the field according to comparative language and literature methods.
Uses the theoretical and practical savings of the field of Turkish language and literature in the research and analysis process.
Identifies and defines problems related to the field of Turkish language and literature and offers solutions to them.
Explain the universal and social effects and legal consequences of field execution.
Reads, transcribes, translates to Turkish and examines the written texts of the historical and contemporary dialects of the Turkish language, written in different alphabets.
Analyzes the oral-written, verse and prose texts of the Turkish language and literature in terms of language science methods and literary theories.
Selects and applies analysis and modeling methods suitable for problems relevant to the field of Turkish language and literature.
It effectively uses information technologies together with modern tools in field applications.
Designs a research on the chosen subject, collects the necessary data and analyzes the results.
Archives the data of the prepared project and the conducted research.

1	The Azerbaijan, Uzbek and Kazakh languages. Reading and writing.
2	Phonology. Vowels. Classification of vowels. Vovel Harmony. Consonants. Consonant harmony. Phonetic changes.
3	Deriving nouns from nouns and functions of denominal suffixes.
4	Deriving nouns from verbs and functions of denominal suffixes.
5	Deriving verb from verb, voice suffixes in Azerbaijan, Uzbek and Kazakh languages and their functions.
6	Deriving verb from noun and functions of deverbal suffixes.
7	Practices on the deriving suffixes.
8	Practices on the deriving suffixes.
9	Midterm.
10	Inflectional suffixes and their functions. Activities on translation.
11	Declension and copula. Activities on translation.
12	Conjugation; modality-tense-aspect and agreement; indicative. Activities on translation.
13	Imperative, desiderative, optative and necessitative in Turkish. Activities on translation.
14	Personal endings, their varieties and functions. Activities on translation.
