Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The aim of this course is to introduce the methods and rules of interviewing, conducting a survey, keeping a diary and etc and to make practises on the scientific and literary works of this issue.
Course Content Identify the process of the preparation of some literary types such as interview, survey, novel and make practises on these types. Recognize the drafts of some selected novels, articles and poems from Turkish Literature and work on these.

Weekly Course Subjects

1To ask questions while interviewing and surveying and make the person speak.
2To evaluate the interviews and surveys prepared and made by the students.
3To discuss the examples of how a book of interviews is prepared.
4The points to consider about scientific writing, selecting the topic and handling the subject.
5To evaluate the scientific writings of the subjects selected by each student regarding their own interest and focus on the common errors.
6The differences between artistic and scientific works
7To discuss the selected examples of some artworks and scientific works in the class.
8The points to consider about introducing and critizing a book.
9Midterm exam
10How is a scientific work or an artwork introduced? To discuss the examples that is previously written in the class.
11How is a scientific work or an artwork critized? The points to consider for a successful criticism.
12To ask the students for presenting and criticizing a scientific or an artistic book which was given before and interpret about these writings in the class.
13To evaluate a novel that was given before and composed by each students work on an episode in the class.
14To evaluate a novel that was given before and composed by each students work on an episode in the class.
