Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	To introduce the history of Turkish language, literature and culture, developments in this area, leading nations and personalities in this regard.
Course Content	Studies on Turkish language, literature and culture since Kaşgarlı Mahmut's work have been published in XIX and XX. The development, concentration and reasons of the century.

Learning Outcomes

Explains the historical development of Turkish language and literature according to countries and ecoles.
Introduces "well-known personalities in the historical period and fields of Turkish literature" and their works from the first examples to the present.
Describes the relationship between language and literary theories and other disciplines.
Evaluates the works of Turkish language and literature in various periods and fields in terms of Turkish cultural history.
Evaluates the fields and ecoles of the field within its historical depth and geographical width.
Follows bibliography of studies on Turkish language and literature in written, printed and virtual platforms.
