Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	The aim is to provide knowledge regarding infectious agents, transmission routes, and prevention methods for the recognition, prevention, and control of infectious diseases caused by microorganisms; and to introduce the applications of digital health technologies and artificial intelligence in the processes of infection diagnosis, monitoring, and control.
Course Content	Definitions related to infectious diseases; infectious agents; general symptoms and diagnostic methods for infectious diseases; principles of infection prevention; principles of asepsis, antisepsis, sterilization, disinfection, and isolation; hospital-acquired infections and infection control committees; immunity; viral, bacterial, and parasitic infections; digital health technologies in the diagnosis and monitoring of infectious diseases; electronic health records and infection surveillance systems; AI-supported applications for infection diagnosis and risk assessment; digital data security, patient privacy, and ethical principles.
