Purpose and Content

The aim of the course To provide students with an understanding of the fundamental concepts of ergonomics, ergonomic risks, principles regarding the organization of work environments, and approaches to preventing occupational musculoskeletal disorders; and to raise awareness regarding the safe and ergonomic use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence applications in oral and dental health services.
Course Content Introduction to ergonomics, fundamental principles and legal aspects of ergonomics, ergonomic risk factors, ergonomics in offices and healthcare institutions, ergonomics in dentistry, four-handed dentistry, motion economy, occupational musculoskeletal disorders and prevention methods, ergonomics in digital work environments, and digital technologies and artificial intelligence applications in oral and dental health.
